Happy Ostara! May you all have a wonderful first day of spring. The days are gradually warming around here, and bright pops of colorful daffodils and crocus (crocii??) dot my morning walks with Editor Dog. I hope youâre able to get outside and take a breath of fresh air today.
The first day of spring seemed like the perfect chance to send my first newsletter using substack! I hope you like the changes. (let me know!)
I donât have a lot of updates this month, other than to promise Iâm working through my book 2 edits as fast as I can. Itâs been a bit of a slog as Iâve had four colds plus something flu-like since early December, and each one has lingered for a week or longer, leaving my brain foggy. But I am working and I love how the story is developing from my original ideas!
If youâre on Instagram or Twitter, follow me for the snippets from Bad Company that I post a couple times a week, or follow my Facebook page. (and yes, Iâm procrastinatingâŠ)
For all of you whoâve read book 1, THANK YOU!!! Please consider leaving a review. It really helps authorsâespecially indie authorsâfind new readers⊠As does word-of-mouth, so tell all your friends! Always feel free to share, retweet, and forward any of my social media posts and newsletters, too. I love connecting with new readers.
Those of you signed up for my newsletter will always get the really good stuff first! So hereâs the opening paragraph of Against the Wind (e-book available for pre-order!)
I wish I could put the paperback up for pre-order as well, but alas, that isnât an option at this time. Iâll let you know as soon as itâs available though!
Coming in Aprilâs newsletter:
Updates about Against the Wind
News about my Kindle Vella Story, Illegitimate Magic
Camp NaNoWriMo updates (hoping to do this⊠weâll see! đ€)
Maybe a poll!
Happy reading,
Jill đ
