Happy holidays ❄️
Hello and happy holidays!
Though I had the best intentions, November slipped away without an update. I was busy participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) a yearly challenge where writers try to create 50,000 words in 30 days. This was my fourth year participating and my best to date, with a total of 62,000 words at the end of the month. My fingers needed some time to recover after all that typing. It's the start of a novel I hope to release in late 2022—maybe early 2023—depending on edits and other project progress.
(And yes, I promise my first project of 2022 is finishing Almost Like Magic book 2! I actually have a good start on it, but no publication date just yet.)
For anyone looking for the perfect gift for that special author in their lives, I humbly post this image:
To those of you who purchased a copy of Bad Company, thank you so much!!! Your support is overwhelming. And now I would ask for you go back to the Amazon page and leave a review. It doesn't need to be long, just a sentence and a star rating! It would mean so much to me. And I promise I'm not stalking the book's page and reading the reviews, so please be honest.
My family is looking forward to celebrating Jolabokaflod, the Icelandic tradition of gifting new books on Christmas Eve and then snuggling in and reading (with snacks and hot chocolate, of course). As this year winds down, I wish everyone a peaceful and gentle holiday season, full of the people and things that make you feel content and safe.
Happy reading,
Jill Corddry
